ALEXANDRA SMITH
Alexandra Smith from Start Strong Bronx talks about her seemingly unconventional transition from wedding planner to social worker. As a wedding planner, Alexandra did not always see the healthiest aspects of relationships. Numerous times, fights erupted over simple decisions such as choosing the color of ballroom chairs. She realized that perhaps the couples, not the wedding itself, needed attention. As the Start Strong Bronx Project Coordinator, her work now encompasses everything that she believes in from nurturing and educating children to helping their families.

Bryanna Mason
Bryanna Mason became involved with Start Strong Bronx because "I am almost at that stage where I will have a relationship, and I want to be able to know whether I'm in a bad relationship, and to help prevent it with my family and friends. . I also want to know what healthy relationship is."

Xavier McGarrity joined Start Strong Bronx because he is interested in understanding and sharing with his peers what a healthy relationship is and how to stop a teen from being abused.
