START STRONG INDIANAPOLIS

Start Strong Indianapolis started the school year on the right foot by participating in Back-to-School Night at Westlane Middle School. Westlane will be the first school to teach the Safe Dates curriculum to 7th grade students in health classes beginning September 14th. The Start Strong Indianapolis team spoke to parents and found that 100% of parents surveyed at Back-to-School Night agreed that healthy relationship programming is needed in today's middle schools! As part of Start Strong, 19 educators from schools throughout Indianapolis were trained in implementing the Safe Dates curriculum.

Start Strong Indianapolis also launched a Start Strong club at North Central High School.
